AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT
This Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement for Church Street Sewer Line Project, Bid No. 2024 -07, dated November 19, 202 4, is made on January 20, 2026, by and between R. Baker Inc., a California Corporation (“Contractor”), and the City of Santa Maria, a California Municipal Corporation and charter city (“City”), in Santa Maria, California, based on the following recitals:
1. On November 19, 2024, the City and Contractor entered into an Agreement for Church Street Sewer Line Project, Bid No. 2024 -07 in an amount not -to-exceed $1,500,584; and
2. The City desires to increase the not -to-exceed amount to provide for additional required work under the existing scope of services; and
3. The Contractor agrees to the increase in compensation as set forth below, and both parties wish to amend the Agreement accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED:
SECTION 1 . The total not -to-exceed amount under the Agreement is hereby increased by $113,949.90; and
SECTION 2. The new total not -to-exceed amount under the Agreement shall be $1,614,533.90; and
SECTION 3. All other terms of the Agreement remain unchanged.
