SUBJECT: Presentation - Quarterly Economic Development Impact Report s by Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce for October 2025 to March 2026
The City Council will receive a presentation from the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce on the Economic Development endeavors for the quarter of October 2025 to March 2026.
BACKGROUND:
The City of Santa Maria partners with the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce (Chamber) to attract visitors to the city and provide economic development enhancement and support within the city. In exchange for these services, the Chamber receives a portion of the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) from the City.
DISCUSSION:
The Chamber supports economic growth and development in the Santa Maria Valley region. Throughout the quarters, the Chamber provided direct assistance to potential new businesses and local enterprises. The Chamber’s Economic Impact Report covering the months of October 2025 to March 2026 is included as an attachment.
