A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA
APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH RINCON CONSULTANTS, INC. FOR
ADDITIONAL FUNDS TO COMPLETE THE REMAINING ENVIRONMENTAL
ANALYSIS REQUIRED FOR THE PACKAGE DELIVERY WAREHOUSE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT (PD2024-0003)
WHEREAS, City of Santa Maria and Rincon Consultants, Inc. entered into an agreement on February 18, 2025, to complete environmental review for PD2024 -0003; and
WHEREAS, additional tasks and time have been identified from the original professional services agreement to satisfactorily complete the environmental review for PD2024-0003; and
WHEREAS, Rincon Consultants, Inc. has provided a proposal scope and fee that has been reviewed and approved by the Community Development Department to complete the environmental review for PD2024-0003.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of t he City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Approving the professional services agreement amendment to increase the not -to-exceed amount by $119,977.59 for a total contract amount of $241,569.59; and
SECTION 2. Authorize the City Manager , or designee , to execute amended agreement; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make minor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
