A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MARIA, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING A LIMITED TIME PARKING ZONE
ON EAST MILL STREET
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Santa Maria to establish parking restrictions at certain locations within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Maria Traffic Committee has reviewed the proposed limited time parking restriction and recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 7 -5.14 of the Santa Maria Municipal Code, limited time parking restrictions shall be established on the following street, incorporated herein by reference, at the following locations b y the City Council of the City of Santa Maria, California, as follows:
East Mill Street, 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, along the northerly curb face, beginning approximately 20 feet west of the northwesterly curb return at the intersection of East Mill Street and North Miller Street, and continuing approximately 25 feet westerly, adjacent to 323 East Mill Street.
SECTION 2. The foregoing shall constitute traffic regulations pursuant to ordinance; and
SECTION 3. The Chief Deputy City Clerk is hereby authorized to make m inor changes herein to address clerical errors, so long as substantial conformance of the intent of this document is maintained. In doing so, the Chief Deputy City Clerk shall consult with the City Manager and City Attorney concerning any changes deemed necessary.
