RECOMMENDATION:
Waive the second reading and adopt Ordinance No. 2026-10, amending Section 8-10.33 Water Waste: Outdoor Water Use Restrictions of Title 8 of the Santa Maria Municipal Code.
BACKGROUND:
At a special City Council meeting held on October 8, 2026, the City Council introduced Ordinance No. 2026-10, to amend Section 8-10.33 Water Waste: Outdoor Water Use Restrictions of Title 8 of the Santa Maria Municipal Code. This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after City Council adoption.
