A special meeting of the Santa Monica City Council was called to order by Mayor Himmelrich at 5:54 p.m., on Tuesday, January 19, 2022, via teleconference pursuant to Assembly Bill No. 361 signed by, Governor Gavin Newsome at https://primetime.bluejeans.com/a2m/live-event/ykjrkvyz .

CONVENE On order of the Mayor, the City Council convened at 5:54 p.m., with all members present except Councilmember Negrete.
CLOSED SESSIONS

arrived at 6:00 p.m.
Councilmembers Negrete and
de la Torre were excused at
10:44 p.m.
There was no one present for public comment on closed sessions.
On order of the Mayor, the City Council recessed at 5:55 p.m., to consider closed sessions and returned at 10:46 p.m., with all members present, except Councilmembers Negrete and de la Torre to report the following:
1.A. Public Employee Appointment: Title - City Attorney The Mayor advised this matter was heard with no reportable action taken.
ADJOURNMENT On order of the Mayor, the City Council meeting adjourned at 10:47 p.m.
