I am writing in support of item 13D. I encourage you all to support Mayor Pro Tem Kristin McCowan and Councilmember Davis in the allocation of $25,000, or more, of discretionary funds to Community Corporation of Santa Monica to support the upcoming community based marketplace at Brunson Terrace, located at 1819 Pico Blvd. This marketplace has been a community vision and collaboration between local activists, grassroots organizers and other Pico community stakeholders expressing the need for local, affordable, small business spaces.
