Santa Monica Spoke and the Santa Monica Safe Streets Alliance are pleased to support the staff’s proposed annual repaving project list that will take advantage of efficiencies and cost savings and includes signing and striping safety improvements to coincide with the repaving work.
We are glad to see the important safety improvements identified in Vision Zero, the Wilshire Safety Study, Pedestrian Action Plan, and Bike Action Plan Amendment come to life as well as adjustments along Ocean Ave that will help maximize safety and efficiency for everyone.
We compliment the staff for seizing the opportunity to take advantage of these cost saving efficiencies and for being supportive of the community’s vision for safety for all road users.
