Subject: Endorsing Staci Griesbach for Arts Commission
Dear Members of the City Council,
I wanted to give my full endorsement to the Arts Commission candidacy of Staci Griesbach.
Although I have not yet met Ms. Griesbach, her reputation for excellence has come to my attention, and her diverse background ranging from as an artist, for example as a musician, working closely with Santa Monica College"s Jazz Ensemble ( and previously with other SMC musical groups), onto her executive experience, for example, as Vice President, Worldwide Publicity, for SONY Pictures.
The Arts Commission needs candidates of this stature, and background, to further expand and build out the skills sets already present on the Commission. I hope you will approve her application and allow her to fill the open seat on the Arts Commission. I know that I, and all the other Commissioners, would welcome her service and contributions.
