Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on May 9, 2023, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance to amend Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 6.20, Home-Sharing and Vacation Rentals, to authorize home-sharing in certain qualifying accessory structures and incorporate a Home-Sharing Legalization Program. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
