Phil and Oscar owe us an apology.
They owe us an apology under the standards Phil himself campaigned on. The first item on the "issues" page of Phil's 2020 campaign website was a Trumpian screed of grievances that he said the city owed us an apology for. One of these was "For building edifices (city hall annex) to your incompetency and squandering our tax dollars...You owe us an apology." https://www.votebrock.org/issues/they-owe-us-an-apology Now Phil and Oscar are submitting a 16 item asking the residents to bail them out because their incompetency on managing their travel budgets squandered our tax dollars. Why should the residents bear the brunt of this bailout? They should pull this 16 item and instead 1) issue an apology and 2) pay to fix this out of their own pockets 3) find a class that can teach them the basic money management skills every other councilmember is capable of so that this doesn't happen again.
