Subject: Recognition of Outgoing Board & Commission Members The City of Santa Monica has a rich history of public participation through its boards, commissions, and task forces program. These volunteers serve in an advisory capacity, assisting the Council in providing linkages between residents, organizations, city officials and the general community.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, members were acknowledged and recognized for their service at an annual dinner, with the last dinner being held in April 2019. Since the hiatus of the annual dinner, there has not been any public recognition for those members who completed their service between 2020 and 2023. As such, on behalf of the City of Santa Monica, the City Council, in coordination with the Office of the City Clerk, would like to extend their appreciation and well wishes to the following former members (see attached list).
