Dear Mayor Brock, Vice Mayor, Negrete and City Council Members, I am writing to you today in support of Deborah Lynch's application for the Housing Commission position for a person who is 62 or over and is a SMHA program participant.
Deborah has attended and has actively participated in Housing Commission meetings, City Council meetings, and informal Resident Advisory Board meetings. Deborah has a passion for, and a strong commitment to, identifying problems and advancing solutions that seniors in Santa Monica are experiencing.
Deborah has been a resident of Santa Monica for 20 years and has a great understanding of issues that seniors face with regard to housing in Santa Monica. I would ask that Deborah be appointed to the position she has applied for on the Housing Commision as her commitment to issues seniors face with regard to housing is vital to ensure a better future for seniors and enhancing their overall wellbeing.

Please appoint Deborah Lynch to the open seat reserved for a person of at least 62 yrs of age AND a Santa Monica Housing participant. By all accounts, Deborah has already proven herself as knowledgeable, resourceful and helpful to a number of people finding it difficult to manage their housing questions and situations. She is the right asset for the seat and deserves to be there.

I would like to endorse Debra Lynch for the seat that is currenlty open on the Commission. Ms. Lynch is a pro-active senior who is concerned with issues that address our seniors and god knows we need that. She is not beholden to any special interest organizations or power groups. She is not owned by the real estate industry or a lobbyist. She is real.
Please show you actually do care about seniors and put Debra Lynch in that seat where only she belongs.
