Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on April 23, 2024, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance amending Article 8 of the Santa Monica Municipal Code to adopt the 2022 California Green Building Standards Code, repeal outdated local amendments, and adopt a 2022 Local Amendment Relating to concrete requirements for newly constructed buildings. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
