Thank you for this clarification. Is staff able to advocate for the appointment to be pushed to June 25th? I feel like we would have to on-board someone for one meeting. Then they may not get re-appointed.

Sorry, my mistake. The appointment was pushed to the June 11th meeting. The annual appointments are scheduled for the June 25th.
If Council chooses to appoint someone on the June11th meeting, that person would have less than a month to re-apply. If Council chooses not to appoint someone on that meeting, then that appointment would be mixed in with the annual appointments.

Last night, the City Council decided to push the appointment to the Commission of Sustainability, Environmental Justice and the Environment to their July 11th meeting.
I will keep you updated on the whether there is an appointment in that meeting.
