Subject: Second Reading and Adoption of Ordinance Amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 3.21.090 to Extend the Term of the First Shared Mobility Device Pilot Program to June 30, 2020, and Creating Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 3.22 to Establish a Second Shared Mobility Device Pilot Program and Related Permitting and Operator Selection Process Recommended Action
Staff recommends that City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on January 28, 2020, the City Council introduced for first reading an ordinance amending Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 3.21.090 to extend the term of the first shared mobility device pilot program to June 30, 2020, and creating Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 3.22 to establish a second shared mobility device pilot program and related permitting and operator selection process.
The ordinance is now presented to City Council for adoption.
