EXTERNAL
The Utility billing is over charging with random high spikes in bills.

I am filing a complaint and have asked for this to be looked into by utility but have had no explanation Michele Macintosh

Subject: Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade

EXTERNAL
This is Garage 6 adjacent to Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade at dusk on Saturday. This addict in the lobby facing 2nd Street said he was doing CRYSTAL METH, and offered it to our team for a few dollars, while the security guard WATCHED, LISTENED, and CONTINUED WALKING away. Santa Monica and DTSM, Inc. sign long-term contracts with shady security guard companies for no less than 5 and 7 years, who allow OPEN DRUG USE in the alleyways, parking garage lobbies, elevators and stairways, day and night. Any surprise the City publishes figures stating 86% of residents will NOT park, shop or dine In Downtown Santa Monica? Is there a concerted effort by the City and SMRR to destroy the remaining businesses in its Downtown and Promenade? Land Grab? Lives are at risk.

Subject: The People Concern

EXTERNAL
Questions for The People Concern CEO John Maceri, and Santa Monica Mayor Lana Negrete (who now has a seat on the City's Audit Subcommittee): Why are taxpayers funding 100 occupied "beds" inside when only 60 exist, and only half of those are full on a typical night? Allowing addicts in the encampment in front, and 59 others to shoot up every night are a 'middle finger' to Governor Newsom's Executive Order for Cal. cities to follow the US Supreme Court's Grants Pass Decision. Does this warrant bonuses and pay increases for CEO John Maceri and his staff who consciously disregard public safety? The problem grows every year with no accountability. .

Subject: Switch SaMo social handlesfrom X to Bluesky

EXTERNAL
X is owned by a public Nazi and is overrun with Bots and misinformation, Bluesky has much better controls and protections built in. Bluesky has a lot of adoption and easy public access. I used it during the fires to get all the necessary information.

Don’t support the Nazi with our city’s business and content, please.

Subject: Santa Monica

EXTERNAL
How can a City anywhere in the United States declare a "State of Emergency" 3 years in a row and not achieve any progress? Welcome visitors from around the world to Santa Monica, a city in the top 4% of most dangerous in all of California. A city whose leaders are unable to keep its housed or unhoused residents safe from assault, robbery and property crimes. An example of ultra progressive policies whose leaders, similar to adjacent Los Angeles, have also REDUCED budgets for Fire and Police Protection, and INCREASED allocations for homeless service grants to wasteful non-profits. A City whose Police are called an average of 8 to 10 times daily for reports of crime and overdoses in its 3 Downtown parks, can no longer find its own funds for Public Safety in its General Fund, and must rely on Federal grants for basic technology and equipment upgrades.
