Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on January 28, 2025, the City Council introduced for first reading an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Santa Monica creating Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 3.36.300 to establish a Department of Transportation Prohibition Order Program as authorized by Public Utilities Code Sections 99171 and 99172. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
