Hello James Kennedy,
Congratulations on your appointment to the Public Safety Reform and Oversight Commission! The appointment was made last night by the City Council at its meeting for a partial term ending on June 30, 2027.
Since you are currently serving on the Clean Beaches & Ocean Parcel Tax Citizens Oversight Committee, and per Resolution 11510, Section 3, “No person shall serve simultaneously on more than one Santa Monica City Council appointed board, commission, committee, or task force,..”, you will need to resign from the Committee if you wish to serve on the Public Safety Reform and Oversight Commission.
