I write as a Clean Power Alliance (CPA) Community Advisor for the Westside regarding Agenda Item 4-D to commend the good work of the City Staff as it has proposed the development of a direct-to-renter electric appliance incentive program. The $249,100 grant, which is made available through the CPA innovation community benefits programs, offers an example of how our decisions about our local clean energy supplier can lead to reinvestments here to help ease the cost of transitioning to electric appliances as an important climate solution.
With a keen commitment to take up the opportunities offered by CPA, Staff continues to move us towards accomplishing our critical, ambitious climate goals.
