A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ACCEPTING AND APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP FOR TRACT NO. 82302 TO SUBDIVIDE A PROPERTY AT 2121 SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD AND TO ALIGN EXISTING PARCEL LINES WITHIN THE HEALTH CENTER’S PHASE TWO MASTER PLAN AREA THAT IS BOUNDED BY SANTA MONICA BLVD, 20TH STREET, ARIZONA AVENUE AND 23RD STREET
WHEREAS, on March 22, 2022, the Santa Monica City Council approved a tentative tract map to reconfigure lots line to correct inconsistencies in legal descriptions for various parcels owned by Providence Saint John’s Health Center located at 2121 Santa Monica Boulevard and to align existing parcel lines within the Health Center’s Phase Two Master Plan area that is bounded by Santa Monica Blvd, 20th Street, Arizona Avenue and 23rd Street; and
WHEREAS, a timely filing of a final tract map was made to the County of Los Angeles prior to expiration of the tentative tract map; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 66452.6(d) of the Government Code, if a timely filing of a final map is made to the City or County, then the City may process, approve, and record a final map after the expiration of the tentative map; and WHEREAS, the final tract map conforms to the tentative tract map; and WHEREAS, pursuant to 66458(a) of the Government Code and Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 9.54.080(A), the City Council finds that the final tract map conforms to and meets all requirements of the Subdivision Map Act and Santa Monica 2 Municipal Code Ch. 9.54 and the proposed subdivision is consistent with the applicable general and specific plans.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Final Map for Tract No. 82302 in the City of Santa Monica is hereby accepted and approved.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk hereby is authorized and directed to endorse upon the face of said Map this order authenticated by the Seal of the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
