Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on June 10, 2025, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance to add chapter 8.46 to the Santa Monica Municipal Code to designate Fire Hazard Severity Zones as pursuant to California Government Code Section 51178. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
