It is both pathetic and amazing that you would have appointed this person to any commission. You did it to work over
the best Housing Commission and one of the smartest, hardest working and honest
commissioners we have ever had. Just payback again.

to justify your actions is beyond me. This is a city with residents who
have needs, this is not some parlor game. I doubt any of you ever read her
application, because if you had- or if the clerk who makes 30 K a month had actually done her job, you would have known she was
not qualified..for this or any position anywhere.

Subject: My recommendation for Housing Commission available position - Theresa Marsco
Good morning,
I am writing to you not only to recommend Theresa Marasco for the open position of “Previously Unhoused, Section 8 Voucher Holder”, but to cite my reasons based on my requirements to administer with proper oversight the Commission, with efficiency and statutorily correct procedures, while addressing the needs of our community.
As new Commissioners enter this world chances are their knowledge of the requirements of the Housing Commission will be in the learning stage. I can attest to that. It is of tremendous importance that a Commissioner have knowledge of the pertinent laws and codes associated with Housing; HUD, CAB/RAB, Section 8, Affordable Housing (Inclusionary and Non-profit) Housing, Landlord rules and regulations and basically all things Housing Authority, to name a few.
Theresa Marasco’s life experience coupled with her expertise, defines her as an essential component to the Housing Commission. I have worked with Theresa for almost two years. In that time, she has given selflessly, creating a bright light through her dedication and spirit.
Given all she has contributed, I give my highest recommendation to Theresa Marasco for the position of Housing Commissioner.
