Site Plan Alternatives
Each of the Site Plan Alternatives presented in this section shares a common approach for the following program elements:
- Viability for either artificial or natural turf for the ball fields - Space allocation for community amenities, such as barbecue grills - Space allocation for a playground
- Space allocation for a dog run
- Space allocation for exercise station grouping(s)
- Footprint area for the surface parking, elevated tennis/pickleball courts, and Community Hub building - 15’-wide travel lane on Colorado Blvd, as requested by the fire department The primary differences will be highlighted in the following pages.

Streetscape
The streetscapes within Phase 1 and 2 will be designed to follow the Master Plan with refinements as needed based on subsequent City input and development of the park’s program layout. The Site Plan Alternatives in the following section incorporate typical design conditions for Colorado Avenue and 14th Street. The Site Plan Alternatives influence 16th Street, with three alternatives accommodating angled parking and one alternative with parallel parking.
