Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on April 14, 2026, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance amending Chapters 4.08 (Disorderly Conduct, Nuisances, etc.), 4.12 (Noise),
4.55 (Park and Beach Code), 4.68 (Community Events), 6.112 Street Performers), and
9.61 (Signs) to facilitate Major Special Events. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
