PHASING
Immediate Term Improvements (6-12 mo.)
• Signal timing adjustments, Leading Pedestrian
Intervals (LPIs), pedestrian recall, turn restrictions, and far side bus stop relocations.
Phase 1 Improvements (before Olympics)
• Signing and striping improvements: crosswalks,
RRFBs, curb extensions, RT only restrictions. Bus
only lanes!
• Chelsea Avenue/Park Drive will be designed in this
phase.
Phase 2 Improvements (after Olympics)
• Chelsea Avenue to be constructed after Olympics
• ATP Cycle 8 grant application for phase 2.
