Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on May 12, 2026, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance repealing and replacing Santa Monica Municipal Code Chapter 2.62, creating Chapters 2.73 and 2.74, and amending Chapters 2.50, 2.64 and 2.66, to implement various Board and Commission changes resulting from the City of Santa Monica 2025 Comprehensive Board and Commission Review. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
