Eleven years ago the United Nations invited me, as Santa Monica’s Mayor, to present the Big Blue Bus electrification story at the COPS-21 climate conference in Paris.
Delegates from around the world were gathered to contemplate how humanity might respond to our climate crisis. Our electric buses of Santa Monica’s Big Blue fleet were one of the success stories they heard.
Replacing old CNG buses with electric ones has taken time, of course. This is another step forward. Please vote to go ahead.
