Please extend interim City Clerk Denise Anderson-Warren’s contract to overlap with the onboarding of new permanent City Clerk Walfred Solorzano. In an election year, this is clearly A Very Good Idea.
Given Denise’s experience and utter trustworthiness, might it make even more sense to keep her as an in-house mentor/advisor through the election, so that our incoming City Clerk doesn’t start his job having to oversee the campaigns of his new employers and their allies?
