Recommended Action
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance.
Executive Summary
At its meeting on September 8, 2026, the City Council introduced for first reading an Ordinance of the Council of the City of Santa Monica adding Santa Monica Municipal Code Section 3.12.540 to establish an Automated Traffic Enforcement System Program to detect a violation of a traffic control signal. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
