Mayor Sobel Called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.

BUDGET WORKSHOP
City Manager Dan Singer provided a brief overview of the workshop.
Bruce Stenslie with the Ventura County Economic Development Collaborative provided a presentation on Economic Development in Ventura County.
Public Comments:
Laura Interiano was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
Ned Branch was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
Lynda Braunschweiger was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
Atticus Reyes, on behalf of Assembly member Steve Bennett's office, spoke in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
Kay Wilson-Bolton was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
John Marquez was called to speak in support of contractual services with the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce.
Richard Rudman was called to speak in support of contractual services with the Santa Paula Chamber of Commerce.
David Lippert was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula.
Joseph Alexander was called to speak in support of funding to Spirit of Santa Paula, and expressed frustration on part-time government.
Revenue Assumptions and Overviews were presented by City Manager Dan Singer and Finance Director Christy Ramirez.
Dan Matusiewicz with GovInvest provided a presentation on Retirement and Unfunded Actuarial Liability.
Department budget requests were presented by each department for funds needed. 5)
