CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Cornejo called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m.

Councilmember Sobel led the flag salute.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Jon Risque was called to speak thanking everyone for setting up the Union Oil Building with tenants that will be beneficial to the community. 5)
ORDER OF BUSINESS
5.A)
UNION OIL BUILDING STUDY SESSION WITH POTENTIAL TENANTS Councilmember Juarez recused himself from this item, leaving the Dias.
Parks & Recreation Director Greg Barnes provided a presentation on the space and recommendations for the use of the Union Oil Building, introducing each of the applicants:
Leap Lab - Ventura County Science Center
The California Oil Museum Foundation
The Santa Paula Historical Society
Council provided staff feedback and recommendations with what they would like to see on the MOU. 6)

CONFERENCE WITH LABOR NEGOTIATORS PURSUANT TO GOVERNMENT CODE §54957.6 - City Representatives: City Attorney Monica Castillo, City Manager Dan Singer, Finance Director Christy Ramirez, and Human Resources Administrator Lorena Alvarez; Employee Organizations: Santa Paula Police Officers Association (SPPOA) City Attorney Monica Castillo announced the closed session item is tabled for a future meeting. 7)
