Mayor Cornejo called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

SANTA PAULA ANIMAL CONTROL AND SHELTER SERVICES
City Manager Dan Singer introduced staff present:
Animal Control Officer John Morales
SPARC Director Nikki Gore-Jones
Police Chief Don Aguilar
Community Development Director James Mason
Finance Director Christy Ramirez
City Manager Dan Singer explained the challenges the city is facing with animal control at this time.
John Morales provided the regulatory framework governed by the City's Municipal Code.
Director Mason provided information on the SPARC MOU Terms and Considerations.
Nikki Gore-Jones presented a presentation on the Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center (SPARC), providing information on their mission that every single animal is given their second chance at life. She explained the current challenges facing SPARC. 5)
