Interview applicant to fill one open position on the Measure T Oversite Committee

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council:
Interview applicant to fill one open position on the Measure T Oversite Committee BACKGROUND:
The City Clerk's office published Vacancy Notices for all open positions on Commissions, Committees and Boards, in the Santa Paula Times, City website and social media. Applicant application is attached as Exhibit A.
The City Council will hold applicant interview to fill the following:
Measure T Oversight Committee to fill one vacancy, for a four-year term (12/18/2024- 12/18/2028) as at-large, replacing previously appointed applicant Edd Bond, of which has moved out of the area and unable to serve. Applicant: Dr. Maria Munguia is the only applicant who has applied for this position. If applicant is appointed, this committee will be filled.
ANALYSIS:
None.
STRATEGIC PLAN:
This item is not a goal or objective in City Council’s two-year Strategic Plan, however, appointments to this Committee assist in the furtherance of the Mission, Vision, and overarching categories and goals found within City Council’s two-year Strategic Plan.
FISCAL IMPACTS:
There are no fiscal impacts associated with this item.
OPTIONS:
4 City Council may also request staff to publish openings again for additional applicants. Any additional applicants could be interviewed in February 2025.
