Project Description: County Regional Radio Program Implementation SPPD is part of MOU to implement a County Regional Radio System for improved communications technology, infrastructure and interoperability. Portable radios and car radios will with 700 mghz technology will need to be purchased to begin the transition from antiquated radios. This will impact patrol officer portable radios, police vehicle (base) radios, and Distatch Center (base) radios. This purchase will be a for 55 portable radies at a cost of 4K each, 55 base radios at a cost of 5K each. Addiitional costs will be for programming radios and installation/bracket assemply for installation of base radios. This will also include an annual service cost per radio that is being used that has not yet been determined by the Regional Radio System Committee. The radios will need to be purchased to address the communication needs of the PD.
Project Description: Demo of existing restroom. Replace with a prefrabricated restroom facility. The restroom facilities at Teague Park are in declining shape, despite numerous efforts to upgrade the sewer connections, piping, stalls and fixtures. Within the past year the City has improved safety lighting, added skylights, and cleaned and re-painted the facilities, but a complete tear down and re-build are recommended.
Demolition of the existing restrooms and purchase of a new, prefabricated restroom facility could be accomplished for a much lower cost than the building of a new facility as originally anticipated. 20 307 State Grant -
