Dear Mayor Rogers, Vice Mayor Alvarez, and Councilmembers:
My name is Cal Weeks and I am the Policy Director with Generation Housing where we advocate for more, more diverse, and more affordable housing.
We are pleased to learn that the City of Santa Rosa is considering rezoning parcels to make way for multi-family residential development. As a collective, it is critically important we create more opportunities for families and those of less means to comfortably reside in higher- resource areas of our community. For those reasons and more, we express strong support in favor of rezoning these properties.
