• Purchasing has a purchase requisition from
the Transportation and Public Work (TPW)
Department for the purchase one Leeboy
8500D Asphalt Paving Machine under
Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement number
052417-ALT. This vehicle will be used by the
Transportation and Public Work Street
Surface Repair crew.
2 PROPOSED
• Purchase one Leeboy 8500D Asphalt
Paving Machine under the Sourcewell
Cooperative Agreement Number 052417-
VTL with Nixon-Egli Equipment Company,
Tracy, CA.
• This purchase will replace existing
equipment used in Transportation and
Public Works Street Surface Repair
Division.
3 BENEFIT
• The Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement
offers a 10% discount off of list price.
• Nixon-Egli Company is listed as the
authorized distributor for this equipment.
4 RECOMMENDATION
• It is recommended by the Transportation and
Public Works and Finance Departments that
the Council, by resolution, approve a purchase
order with Nixon-Egli Equipment Company,
Tracy, CA, for the purchase of one Leeboy
8500D Asphalt Paving Machine to replace
existing equipment used in the Transportation
and Public Works Street Surface Repair Division
through Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement
Number 052417-VTL for a total amount not to
exceed $179,804.44.
