RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A PURCHASE ORDER TO NIXON-ELGI EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE LEEBOY 8500D ASPHALT PAVING MACHINE THROUGH SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NUMBER 052417-VTL FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $179,804.44 WHEREAS, the Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) submitted a request to purchase one Leeboy 8500D Asphalt Paving Machine under the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 052417; and WHEREAS, the paving equipment will be used by the TPW Department Street Services crew; and WHEREAS, TPW has obtained a quote for the equipment from Nixon-Egli Company, Tracy, California for the total amount of $179,804.44; and WHEREAS, TPW and Finance Department staff request Council approval of a Purchase Order including the City’s standard Terms and Conditions through the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement 052417-VTL for the purchase of the Leeboy 8500D Asphalt Paving Machine listed under the quote submitted by Nixon-Egli Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa hereby approves a Purchase Order with Nixon-Egli Company, Tracy, California, for the purchase of one Leeboy 8500D Asphalt Paving Machine for a total amount not to exceed $179,804.44.
