Mayor Rogers and Council,
As we enter a new year with so much change behind and ahead of us, I wanted to take a moment to send my gratitude for our partnership on critical shared priorities. We have made great advancements together on issues like childcare capacity and quality, and we continue to work together on housing at all income levels, among other issues. As the Chamber sets its legislative platform for the year, and begins to update its 5 year strategic plan, please be assured that our commitment to our partnership on these issues and others will remain steadfast. While different policies and decisions related to infill housing downtown, for example, will always require thoughtful deliberation at Council and input from stakeholders, it is critical that we continue to advance these priorities for the good of our community.
