Dear Mayor Rogers and Santa Rosa Climate Action
SubCommittee,
I'm writing to urge the city to eliminate gas stations as permitted uses in all land use zones and to cease to accept applications for new gas stations, effectively prohibiting the construction of new gas stations within city limits.
If this cannot be done in this meeting, and more time is needed to consider this issue, I urge you to adopt an "urgency ordinance" imposing a moratorium on the city accepting any new permit applications for new gas stations while this policy is being considered, developed and finalized.

Dear Members of the Santa Rosa Climate Action Subcommittee,
I am writing in regards to the draft ordinance to prohibit the construction of new gasoline stations within city limits. I encourage you to adopt the ordinance at the earliest possible time. Also I support the adopting of an urgency ordinance imposing a moratorium on the city accepting any new permits applications for new gas stations while this policy is being developed.
Thank you for considering the “urgency” of these times and of the changes of that confront us.
