RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM BENNETT VALLEY GOLF COURSE CAPITAL FUND TO PURCHASE TWO GREENS MOWERS WHEREAS, the City entered into a Management and Operations Agreement (Agreement) with Bennett Valley Golf Shop, Inc. (Operator), to operate and maintain the Bennett Valley Golf Course (BVGC) in 2005; and WHEREAS, per the Agreement, the BVGC Operator provides day to day operation and maintenance of tBVGC and equipment; and WHEREAS, per the Agreement, the City owns and is responsible for acquisition of new golf course maintenance equipment; and WHEREAS, City and the BVGC Operator have identified two greens mowers that need urgent replacement; and WHEREAS, in 2017, the City Council established a per round golf fee to be collected in a fund for capital improvements and golf maintenance equipment needs, BVGC Capital fund 1662; and WHEREAS, it is requested that Council increase appropriations in the BVGC Operations fund, Fund, with the source of funds being the BVGC Capital fund, Fund 1662in order to purchase the needed green mowers; and WHEREAS, funding for the two mowers is available from the BVGC Capital fund for capital improvements and golf maintenance equipment in the amount of $411,301. / / /

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa increases appropriatons in the BVGC Operations fund in the amount of $100,000 for the purchase of golf two golf course green mowers, with the source of funds from Bennett Valley Golf Course Capital Fund.
