RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A THIRD AMENDMENT TO GENERAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F001636 WITH CLEAN HARBORS ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, INC. FOR PACKAGING, LOADING, TRANSPORTATION, AND PROPER DISPOSAL OF AMMUNITION ACCUMULATED BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, on March 27, 2018, the Purchasing Agent approved General Services Agreement Number F001636 with Clean Harbors Environmental Services, Inc. (Agreement) for ammunition disposal for a two-year period with three one-year extension options in the amount of $45,000; and WHEREAS, on May 12, 2020, the City Manager approved the First Amendment to extend the term one year and increase compensation in the amount of $15,000; and WHEREAS, on May 3, 2021, the City Manager approved the Second Amendment to extend the term one year and increase compensation in the amount of $25,000; and WHEREAS, the Term of the Agreement expires on March 27, 2022 and the Police Department require continuation of services and therefore desires to exercise the option for an additional one year extension, which includes a 12% increase in unit pricing for the extension term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Third Amendment in substantially the form of Exhibit A, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, to extend the term one year and increase compensation in the amount of $40,000 for a total not to exceed amount of $125,000.
