Attached are letters of support for the following bills before the state Legislature:
AB 916 (Salas) -- Zoning: accessory dwelling units: bedroom addition.
AB 1445 (Levine) -- Planning and zoning: regional housing need allocation: climate change impacts.
These bills met the priorities outlined in the City’s 2022 state legislative platform. Due to the urgency of the proposed pieces of legislation being considered by the Legislature, these letters were prepared immediately for the Mayor’s signature and were timely sent.
