1 CURRENT
• On May 21, 2021, the City Manager approved
Professional Service Agreement number F002302
to Bureau Veritas North America, Inc in the
amount of $100,000.
• The City desires to approve an
amendment to the Professional Service
Agreement to increase the compensation
by $100,000 for a total PO amount of
$200,000.
2 PROPOSED
1) Approve the amendment to Professional
Service Agreement number F002302 with
Bureau Veritas North America, Inc for Fire
Code plan review services in an amount not
to exceed $100,000 for a total purchase
order amount of $200,000;
3 2) Approve the amended Professional Service
Agreement for an initial one-year term with
three successive automatic one-year
3) Authorize the Purchasing Agent to extend
the Professional Service Agreement.

5 RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended by the Fire and Finance Departments that the Council, by resolution authorize the Purchasing Agent to: 1) issue an amendment to Professional Service Agreement F002302 with Bureau Veritas North America, Inc. a Delaware corporation for Fire Code plan review services in an amount not to exceed $100,000 for a total purchase order amount of $200,000 for an initial one-year term; and 2) extend the term of the Professional Service Agreement for one year.
