1 CURRENT
• The Transportation and Public Works
(TPW) submitted Purchase Requisition
R159556 to Purchasing to issue a bid for
a current model Class 8 Cab and
Chassis with Dump Body.
• On April 8, 2022, Invitation for Bid 22-16
was opened by Purchasing
• Two bid responses were received,
Peterson Trucks, Inc., Santa Rosa, CA was
responsive and responsible to the bid
solicitation.
2 PROPOSED
• Approve issuance of a Purchase Order
for the purchase of one (1) 2024
International Class 8 Cab and Chassis
with Dump Body to the lowest responsive
bidder Peterson Trucks, Inc., Santa Rosa,
CA for total not to exceed amount of
$225,604.05.
3 BENEFIT
• This request will replace City vehicle
#47001, a 2000 Sterling Class 8 Cab
and Chassis with Dump Body used by
the Water Department Biosolids
Operations staff.
• This vehicle has met the 15-point
replacement requirement as defined in
the Fleet Management system.
4 RECOMMENDATION
• It is recommended by the Transportation and
Public Work and Finance Departments that
the Council, by resolution, approve issuance
of a purchase order for the purchase of one
(1) 2024 International Class 8 Cab and
Chassis with Dump Body to Peterson
Trucks, Inc., Santa Rosa, CA in the total
amount of $225,604.05.
