1 CURRENT
• Purchasing has received purchase
requisition R159679 from the Transportation
and Public Work (TPW) Department for the
purchase of two DPN30N5 Caterpillar Tier 4
Diesel Forklifts under the pricing offered
through the Sourcewell Cooperative
Agreement number 091520-MCF.
• These vehicles are a replacement for
existing City assets #32202 and #32701 used
in Santa Rosa Water Department.
2 PROPOSED
• A Purchase Order with City Terms and
Conditions will be issued for the
equipment to Holt of California under the
Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement
Number 091520-MCF.
3 BENEFIT
• The Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement
offers up to a 32% discount off of list price.
• Time savings in administration soft costs
associated to specification writing and
bidding process.
• Standard parts inventory for existing fleet.
4 RECOMMENDATION
• It is recommended by the Transportation and
Public Works and Finance Department that the
Council, by resolution, approve issuance of a
purchase order for the purchase of two (2)
DPN30N5 Caterpillar Tier 4 Diesel Forklifts as
replacement equipment for existing City assets
used in Santa Rosa Water, under the pricing
offered through the Sourcewell Cooperative
Agreement number 091520-MCF with Holt of
California, Sacramento, California for a total
amount not to exceed $113,084.30.
