RESOLUTION NO. RES-2022-095
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING A PURCHASE ORDER FOR TWO CATERPILLAR DP30N5 TIER 4 DIESEL FORKLIFTS WITH HOLT OF CALIFORNIA, SACRAMENTO, CA IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $113,084.30 UNDER SOURCEWELL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NUMBER 091520-MCF WHEREAS, the Transportation and Public Works Department (TPW) submitted a request to purchase two DPN30N5 Caterpillar Tier 4 Diesel Forklifts under the pricing offered through the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 091520-MCF; and WHEREAS, the equipment will be used by the Water Department Plant Operations and Laguna Treatment Planet Warehouse staff; and WHEREAS, TPW has obtained a quote for the Caterpillar equipment with 32% off list price from Holt of California for the equipment for a total amount of $113,084.30, attached to this resolution as Exhibit A and made a part of herein; and WHEREAS, TPW and Finance Department staff request Council approval of the Purchasing Agent’s issuance of a Purchase Order with City PO Terms and Conditions through the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement 091520-MCF.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the use of the Sourcewell Cooperative Agreement Number 091520-MCF to issue a Purchase Order with Holt of California, Sacramento, California in the amount of $113,084.30 for the purchase of the two DPN30N5 Caterpillar Tier 4 Diesel Forklifts.
