RESOLUTION NO. RES-2022-123
RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) 22-28 SPLIT BID AWARD FOR LED STREET LIGHTS TO AZCO SUPPLY INC AND SOLARMAX LED INC IN A TOTAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $180,235.19 WHEREAS, the City’s Transportation and Public Works Department has a need for LED Street Lights; and WHEREAS, the Finance and Transportation and Public Works Departments issued Invitation for Bid (IFB) 22-28 for the purchase of 500 each, VEGA D4A LED Light Engine, and 500 each Cobra Head Street Lights; and WHEREAS, AZCO Supply, Inc., Stockton, California was identified as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder to IFB 22-28 for Item #1 - 500 each, VEGA D4A LED Light Engine; and WHEREAS, SolarMax LED, Inc., Riverside, California was identified as the lowest responsive and responsible bidders to IFB 22-28 for Item #2 - 500 each, Cobra Head Street Lights.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves split bid award of IFB 22-28.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council approves the issuance of a purchase order to AZCO Supply, Inc., in the total amount not to exceed $114,712.50.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Council approves the issuance of a purchase order to SolarMax LED, Inc., in the total amount not to exceed $65,522.69.
