RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ROSA APPROVING THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT NUMBER F002029 WITH JESSICA RASMUSSEN, SANTA ROSA, CA IN THE AMOUNT OF $106,080 WHEREAS, on August 15, 2019, the City entered into a Professional Services Agreement with Jessica Rasmussen for art programming and project management in 2019 in the amount of $37,500; and WHEREAS, on March 3, 2021, the City approved the First Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement to extend the time of service and increase compensation by $54,000; and WHEREAS, on May 27, 2022, the City approved the Second Amendment to the Professional Services Agreement to increase compensation in the amount of $8,500; and WHEREAS, Jessica Rasmussen has provided quality service to the Public Art Program, meeting program needs for a variety of programs and projects including, community art programs, public art projects, cultural events, marketing and outreach for related programs and projects, and support to the Art in Public Places Committee, particularly related to implementing the Public Art Strategic Plan; and WHEREAS, the Public Art Program desires to continue to receive services from Jessica Rasmussen, as their familiarity with the Public Art Program will be beneficial in their continuing work with the City of Santa Rosa; and WHEREAS, the City now desires to increase compensation by $106,080 with Jessica Rasmussen and extend the time of performance to June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, funds for this expenditure are included in the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Public Art Fund and SRTBIA Fund budgets with no impact to the General Fund. / / /

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Santa Rosa approves the Third Amendment to Professional Services Agreement Number F002029 , with Jessica Rasmussen, a sole proprieter, in substantially the same form as Exhibit A to the resolution, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, extending time for performance and increasing compensation by $106,080 for a total amount not to exceed $206,080.
