Attached are letters of support for the following state bills:
AB 1817 (Ting) -- Product safety: textile articles: perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Letter of support. Provided for information.
SB 1338 (Umberg) -- Community Assistance, Recovery, and Empowerment (CARE) Court Program. Letter of support. Provided for information.
These issues met the priorities outlined in the City’s 2022 state legislative platforms. Due to the urgency of the proposed items being considered by the Legislature, these letters were prepared immediately for the Mayor’s signature and were timely sent.
